Please note that we will be a long way from the nearest town and shops, so you need to bring everything that you need. This is what we suggest:
- Passport (and visa if applicable)
- Hat
- Sunscreen
- Insect repellent
- Clothes for all seasons. Shorts for hiking in good weather. Evenings can be very cool; it may rain, but we still go walking. We suggest multiple layers including warm windproof jackets plus long trousers and waterproof over-trousers if you have them
- Walking boots
- Pens and notebook
- Plug converter for Spanish sockets (220V, 50Hz) https://world-power-plugs.com/spain
- Laptop and charger cable
- Camera and download cable
- Binoculars/scope (if that way inclined)
- Hiking poles (if, like me, you need them)
- Day pack for walks
- Water bottle
- Ear plugs (you will probably be sharing a room!)
- Euros and credit card
- Toothbrush
- Medications
- Pyjamas
- Forceps (in case of ticks) or tick remover
- Band Aids/Elastoplast (in case of blisters)
- Hard copy of a statement of your travel insurance (you might be covered by your employer; purchase of travel with your credit card might cover you; or you might purchase your own cover)
- Hard copy of the contact details of our local organiser (Nuria Roura Pascual), your hotel in Zaragoza and our venue (Hotel Palazio)
